The context

What this website is for.

A studio selling made-to-order furniture to people buying once in a decade — pieces priced like inheritance rather than replacement.

Nothing about the purchase is urgent. The site’s job is to justify the wait and the price through material honesty and restraint.

What the site has to do

  • Let each piece stand alone with its materials, dimensions, and price posture.
  • Show the joinery as the reason the piece costs what it costs.
  • Make the made-to-order timeline feel like care, not delay.
  • Carry the studio story as provenance behind the work.

Scope

What the build covered.

Structure, content, design, and build for the whole site — the parts a visitor can see and use.

  • Catalog with pages for eight pieces
  • Collections and gallery pages
  • Process page on joinery
  • Studio story page
  • Museum-wall caption and type system
  • Responsive layout across devices
