Terms
Terms of Use
These terms explain the general conditions for using this website and how enquiries, scopes, and ownership work. Project-specific services, deliverables, payment terms, revisions, and timelines are governed by the written scope for each engagement.
Written in plain language by the studio, and reviewed for the services, jurisdiction, and payment structure Orivian Studio actually uses. It is not a substitute for a project contract. Last updated 29 September 2026.
The short version
- Read, share, and link freely; do not copy the work as your own.
- An enquiry starts a conversation. A signed scope is what commits anyone.
- On final payment the client owns the delivered website and design.
- Where this page and a project scope disagree, the scope wins.
Using this website
You may read these pages, print or share individual pages for your own use, and link to them. Please do not scrape the site to train a model, republish the guides as your own, or present the studio work as someone else’s. Do not use the contact form to send automated, unlawful, or harmful messages.
No advice, and no guarantee about the information
The guides, service descriptions, and project notes on this site are written from the studio’s own practice. They are general information, not legal, tax, or business advice, and they cannot account for your specific situation. The studio works to keep the pages accurate and says plainly when something has not been measured or tested; it does not promise that every statement will remain current.
Enquiries are not agreements
Sending the project form or an email starts a conversation; it does not create a contract, reserve a place in the schedule, or commit the studio to a price or a timeline. A project is only agreed once both sides have a written scope from the studio setting out deliverables, timeline, price, and what each party must supply.
What a written scope covers
Every engagement is scoped in writing before work begins, and that document governs the project. It names the pages and features included, the number and length of review rounds, who provides content and assets, deposit and payment milestones, the revision policy, launch responsibilities, and what happens if the project pauses. Where those terms differ from anything described on this website, the signed scope wins.
Ownership of the work
On final payment, the client owns the delivered website design and the custom work produced for the project, together with any content and assets the client supplied. The studio keeps the right to name the project and show it in its portfolio, and retains ownership of its own pre-existing tools, templates, methods, and this website. Third-party fonts, stock, plugins, or licenses remain under their own terms, and any that a project needs will be identified in the scope so the client knows what is being licensed.
Client names, screenshots, and third-party marks
Client names, live-site links, and screenshots of client websites appear on the Work pages with the client’s permission, or as public-site description where the studio has been shown to have built the site. Those names, logos, and content belong to their owners. Their appearance here does not mean the client endorses this studio, and it does not mean the studio controls the client’s site after handover. If a client would like a project removed or described differently, the studio will act on the request.
Third-party links and services
Pages here link to websites the studio does not operate, and the site loads fonts from Google Fonts. The studio is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites, and a link is not a recommendation of anything except the work being described.
Limits of liability
The studio is not liable for losses arising from using this website as information, from email that fails to arrive, or from a third-party service becoming unavailable. If a dispute arises about a paid project, the studio’s total liability for that project is limited to the fees actually paid under its written scope. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 or, where it applies, consumer protection law in your country.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of Metro Manila have jurisdiction, based in Quezon City. Individual project scopes may set their own governing law or dispute process where a client requires it.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the studio’s services change. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date shown below. Questions: hello@orivianstudio.com.
