Accessibility Statement
Orivian Studio aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA on this website. A studio that builds websites for other businesses has no business shipping an inaccessible one of its own, so this page records what has actually been checked rather than a general promise.
Last reviewed 29 September 2026. This statement is updated whenever the site changes in a way that could affect it.
What has been checked
The measures behind the claim.
Measured colour contrast
Text and interface colours were checked programmatically against the WCAG 2.2 ratios — 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and non-text elements — on every page of this site, including button labels, links, form fields, and markers. The signal orange is used as a fill, a rule, or a numeral on dark grounds; it is never used as body text on paper, because at that size it fails.
Keyboard operation
Navigation, the mobile menu, the project form, and every link are reachable and operable by keyboard. Focus is shown with a visible two-tone ring rather than relying on colour alone, the mobile drawer closes on Escape, and a skip link is the first focusable element on each page.
Structure and reading order
Each page has one level-one heading and headings that follow their real order, landmarks for header, main, navigation, and footer, breadcrumb trails on deeper pages, and current-page marking on the navigation. Lists, tables, and definition lists use the semantics that describe them.
Motion and time
Animation is switched off automatically when the browser reports a reduced-motion preference; without that signal no content depends on movement. Nothing on the site times out or moves on its own, and the form has no session limit.
Images and text alternatives
Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology. Screenshots of client websites carry descriptions that state what the page shows and where it came from, and the same information is available as text beside them.
Reading comfort
Body text sits in a single measure near 68 characters, with 1.65 to 1.75 line height, and the layout reflows at small widths and at text-only zoom without horizontal scrolling on the content pages.
Known limitations
What is not yet perfect.
Not yet tested with screen readers
The site has been checked structurally and by keyboard, but not yet with a full matrix of screen reader and browser combinations such as NVDA with Firefox or VoiceOver with Safari. If you report a problem in one of those, it will be treated as a defect and fixed.
The form depends on the studio’s email delivery
Submitting sends your enquiry to the studio’s endpoint, which hands it to an email service. If either is unreachable, the page says so plainly, the details you typed stay in the form, and hello@orivianstudio.com is offered beside it. The form also works with JavaScript switched off: the browser posts it and moves on to the thank-you page. What is still missing is an automatic copy back to you — send the details to yourself as well if you want one in writing.
Client-website screenshots
Captures of client sites contain dense text inside the image. Each has a text alternative, and every project page lists the underlying pages as links, so no information exists only inside a picture.
Third-party fonts
Text is drawn with fonts loaded from Google Fonts. If that service is blocked on your network, the site remains readable with substitute fonts, though spacing may shift.
Feedback
Tell me what got in your way.
If any part of this site is difficult to use, write to hello@orivianstudio.com and name the page and what happened. Reports are read personally and answered within two working days where possible. If you would prefer a page in another format — plain text, a larger print version, or the information by email instead of on screen — ask and it will be sent.
Alternative route: the common questions are written to be readable without opening the main pages, and every service description is also available on request by email.
Access should not be the last thing considered.
Accessibility is part of how this studio builds, not a pass at the end. Clients get a site that is measured for contrast, operable by keyboard, and honest about its limits.
