The honest trade-off
A content-managed site gives you freedom to change pages yourself, and it asks you to keep the software, plugins, and backups in reasonable shape. That is a fair deal for most small businesses — but it is a deal, not a free lunch.
If you would rather hand the whole thing to me and change content twice a year, we should talk about a lighter setup instead. I will say so plainly rather than sell you the more familiar option.
