The context

What this website is for.

A cantina and tocadiscos in South Triangle, Quezon City, where the real differentiator is the combination — food and vinyl culture — rather than any claim about being the best Mexican food in town.

The visitor is deciding where to spend an evening. The design has to sell the experience: the sound, the room, the ritual of a record going on the deck.

What the site has to do

  • Make the food-and-vinyl combination legible in the first screen.
  • Present the menu as a ledger that is scannable on a phone at the table.
  • Give the listening room its own page instead of a paragraph on the home page.
  • Answer party-tray and catering questions before the phone rings.
  • End every page with how to get there and when to come.

Scope

What the build covered.

Structure, content, design, and build for the whole site — the parts a visitor can see and use.

  • Spinning 45 RPM hero
  • Menu as a typographic ledger
  • Tocadiscos listening-room page
  • Party tray and catering page
  • Visit page with hours and directions
  • Token-driven type and colour system
