The context

What this website is for.

A family-run ancestral house in Vigan selling stays to Filipino families first and international heritage travelers second — people choosing atmosphere and lineage over a bed for the night.

The choice is emotional, but the logistics are practical: dates, room sizes, indicative rates, and a reason to book direct instead of through an OTA.

What the site has to do

  • Sell the house itself — its history, its rooms, its light — before selling a rate.
  • Let a family compare three room types without leaving the page.
  • Make direct booking the obvious path rather than the hidden one.
  • Carry dining and experiences as reasons to stay an extra night.
  • Keep the heritage story honest about what is documented and what is remembered.

Scope

What the build covered.

Structure, content, design, and build for the whole site — the parts a visitor can see and use.

  • Rooms and rates for three room types
  • Dining and experiences pages
  • Gallery and heritage story
  • Direct booking flow
  • Colour and type sampled from the house identity
  • Responsive layout across devices
