The context

What this website is for.

A Manila documentary photographer whose site has to carry the claim the work makes: film only, no composites, no AI — the honesty stance is part of the product.

Assignments editors and picture desks arrive skeptical and fast. The structure has to let the work be judged in seconds and the terms be understood in one reading.

What the site has to do

  • Present the body of work as a contact sheet, not a slideshow of highlights.
  • State the film-only position plainly and stand behind it.
  • Give editors a direct route to assignments and print requests.
  • Keep the ledger of experience factual — no awards, no clients, no invented metrics.

Scope

What the build covered.

Structure, content, design, and build for the whole site — the parts a visitor can see and use.

  • Homepage with stats ledger
  • Contact-sheet work index
  • About page with film-only stance
  • Contact page for assignments and prints
  • Darkroom-ledger type and colour system
  • Scroll interaction layer with reduced-motion support
