The context

What this website is for.

A nine-day, city-wide festival for the Philippine design community — the site has to deliver urgency and scale in the first viewport, then get out of the way for browsing.

Visitors arrive with one of three questions: what is on, who is speaking, and which pass they need. The architecture answers them in that order.

What the site has to do

  • Make the dates and the scale unmistakable in the first screen.
  • Keep the program browsable by day without hiding anything behind a filter.
  • Give speakers and passes their own paths from the homepage.
  • Answer the logistics — venues, transport, access — on one page.

Scope

What the build covered.

Structure, content, design, and build for the whole site — the parts a visitor can see and use.

  • Homepage with working countdown and stat band
  • Program page
  • Speakers page
  • Passes page
  • Visit page for city venues
  • Poster-scale type system with reduced-motion support
