The context

What this website is for.

A neighborhood café on Samar Avenue in the densest café corridor in Quezon City, where the product is a commodity and the voice is the differentiator.

People do not compare cafés on bean specs; they pick the one that feels like their kind of afternoon. The site sells occasions — reasons to sit down.

What the site has to do

  • Give every menu category a permanent place instead of hiding it behind tabs.
  • Offer occasions as entry points: work, catch-up, first date, slow morning.
  • Publish hours honestly, including when the kitchen closes.
  • Make no claims about Wi-Fi, outlets, or parking the café has not confirmed.

Scope

What the build covered.

Structure, content, design, and build for the whole site — the parts a visitor can see and use.

  • Editorial homepage with sticky-note hero
  • Full menu on one always-visible page
  • Space page with occasion cards and polaroid wall
  • Visit page with indicative hours
  • Fraunces and Karla type pairing
  • Responsive layout across devices
