Oak is for the dark-roast loyalists: a wet-hulled Sumatran Mandheling married with a high-grown Guatemalan Antigua, roasted well past first crack until the oils surface and the room smells like a fireplace.
Heavy, syrupy, and unapologetic. It cuts through cold brew dilution, holds its own under cream, and makes the best French press of the year on the first cold morning of October.
Tasting notes
- Cedar smoke
- Molasses
- Black cherry
- Toasted oak
