Questions we get weekly
Can I pick which coffees arrive?
Partly. Each plan lets you choose one bag; the rest are roaster’s choice. This is deliberate — subscribers consistently report that the bags they did not choose were the ones that taught them something.
What if I go on holiday?
Pause from the dashboard, or just email us. No minimum term, no cancellation fee, no retention call. The unsubscribe link actually unsubscribes — we tested it.
Whole bean or ground?
Whole bean, always. Grinding minutes before brewing is half of what you are paying for. If you need a grinder recommendation, ask — we sell three, at cost.
Do you ship outside Oregon?
Anywhere in the lower 48. West coast arrives next-day, east coast in three. Coffee travels fine for a few days; it does not travel fine for a few weeks, so we will never use a slow boat.
Is the packaging recyclable?
The bags are home-compostable (the valve included), the box is recycled cardboard, and the tape is paper. The coffee sticker is not yet — we are honest about the last 2%.
What happens in my first box?
A note from whoever roasted it, a brew card for your method, and a small sample of something we are excited about. No discount codes. We are not that kind of subscription.
