WE BUILD WORKWEAR FOR THOSE WHOSE WORK BEGINS WHEN THE CITY SLEEPS.

WORKWEAR CUT FOR THE UNREGULATED HOURS.
Third Shift started in the industrial district of Alameda Street in downtown Los Angeles. In an industry defined by cheap polyester blends, planned obsolescence, and endless markdowns, we chose the opposite direction: unapologetic weight, heirloom craftsmanship, and absolute permanence.
Every jacket is constructed using vintage Union Special chainstitch machinery calibrated for heavy thread tension. Our garments are stiff on day one, uncompromising and raw. Over years of wear, they break in to the owner’s body like armor.
“IF A JACKET CANNOT WITHSTAND FIVE YEARS OF IRON DUST, SALT AIR, AND CONCRETE FRICTION, IT DOESN'T LEAVE OUR CUTTING ROOM.”
— MARCUS CHEN, HEAD CUTTERTHE FOUR PRINCIPLES
STRICT RUN LIMITS (150 PIECES)
Every edition is capped at 150 units. When the bolt of selvedge canvas is finished, the pattern is permanently archived. No reissues.
HAND-STAMPED & SIGNED
Every garment receives an internal hand-inked twill patch bearing its exact number (e.g. 048/150) and the initials of the cutter.
UNCOMPROMISING PROVENANCE
100% natural fibers from Okayama and Rhode Island forged brass. No synthetic blends, zero nylon shortcuts.
FREE LIFETIME REPAIRS
Every Third Shift coat comes with lifelong complimentary darning, hardware riveting, and pocket rebuilding.

NO COMPROMISE. NO REPLICAS. EVERYTHING BUILT FOR DESTRUCTIVE USE.
“Modern fast-fashion brands design clothes to look good on an illuminated digital screen for fifteen seconds before purchase. We design work coats to absorb metal shavings, heavy rainfall, brake dust, and ten thousand cycles of arm abrasion. If a pocket seam blows out while you're hauling gear, that is our failure.”
“That is why I sign off on every single garment personally. My staff and I inspect stitch density, verify rivet tension with torque calipers, and check every laser-etched badge number against our master book before packaging. When you receive a Third Shift jacket, you own a piece of industrial heritage that will outlive us both.”
